Easy Come, Easy Go

By now, you’ve probably realized how different people treat their money differently.

I’ve known people who have no problem spending money. They were willing to spend over $1,000 dollars partying and drinking. They have no problem spending hundreds of dollars impulse buying new stuff that they’d probably stop using after a few weeks.

On the other hand, I’ve also known people who are extremely stingy. They’re not at Mr. Krabs’ level of stinginess, but they’d take any opportunity they can get to save money.

But the problem with that is, it comes with an arguably greater cost.

For example:

When it comes to buying physical products, going with a cheaper option may save you money in the short term, but will most likely end up costing you more in the long term. Cheaper products mean cheaper quality, which means won’t not last long and will cost you extra to replace them.

It’s like the saying goes: Easy come, easy go.

A more recent example:

There was a speed dating event some of my friends were participating in. The price of admission?

$1 minimum.

Just by looking at the fee, I knew it wasn’t going to be the most high quality event. And after listening to my friends’ feedback, my prediction was somewhat accurate. With a low price like that, you’re simply not going to get the most serious participants.

But higher price doesn’t mean you’re investing in better quality, it can also mean you’re saving yourself time.

For example:

When it comes to info products, a lot of shortsighted people will complain how the information they consumed is nothing new or is already known to them.

And that’s true. With so much information available to us today, most, if not all information in paid info products can be found on the Internet. But buying those products will save you time from doing the research yourself.

Likewise with How to Become an Email Titan, I’m positive that you can find the information inside the book on the Internet. The information is basic and nothing new at all.

But that doesn’t mean it’s powerful if you put it to use. It can certainly help you build stronger relationships with your readers and make you more sales.
