I remember back in the days I took a Microeconomics class in college, I learned the concept of supply and demand.
It’s a very simple concept, really.
The value of a product depends on the supply that’s available in the market and the demand for it.
We see this concept in work all the time.
One of the most recent example:
With all the panic with the coronavirus going on, people were hoarding sanitation products. Masks, hand sanitizer, toilet paper (?). And that drove their prices up sky-high.
Of course, this can apply to services and digital products as well. assuming there is a demand.
For digital products, well, it’s digital so there’s a limitless supply. But that doesn’t mean you can create a supply limit. Of course, just be genuine about it. You don’t want to be like those Internet Business Mentors who create fake scarcity.
The point is, the less you provide, the more valuable they become.
As for services, time is your supply. And that’s exactly the case for me.
I only have a limited amount of time to focus on helping other people. Therefore, my services are not cheap. If that is what you’re looking for, go to Fiverr.
If not, you can apply to work with me. Although, I have certain requirements, you can read about them here:
