Why People In Politics Should Never Attempt Copywriting

There’s no better day to talk about this than today, Election Day.

I’m sitting inside, and just waiting for the potential chaos to unfold across the country.

While that’s happening, I watched a video a friend of mine sent me talking about how to have a conversation.

Sounds so simple and silly, but it’s amazing how many people don’t know how to do it.

Take people in politics, for example.

The video I watched described a typical political conversation very accurately.

It’s almost always going to end up in two people talking at each other and refusing to listen. They always think the other person is wrong.

That’s why I stay away from platforms like Twitter and had zero interest in watching the recent presidential debates.

Listening to those kinds of conversations is almost no different than listening to someone who just wants to aggressively sell their products or services to a potential customer.

It’s just not going to end well and drive the person away.

So how do you avoid that?

Well, instead of explaining the solution in my own words, which will be a lot less effective, I’ll show you the video.

The video is intentionally tailored towards gamers, but the principles the person teaches are still extremely valuable and will come in handy when it comes to sales and marketing.

Enjoy.
