Walmart’s Interesting Announcement

Recently, Walmart publicly announced that they won’t be open this year’s Thanksgiving.

This is the first time it’s going to happen in 30 years.

Good to know that Walmart employees can finally spend the holiday with their families for a change.

But I’m sharing this with you because the article I read mentioned an important lesson.

The world we’re living in is just one big question mark right now. Everything’s up in the air and no one knows what’s going to happen in the near future.

Controversy is everywhere.

And when no one’s certain of anything, it’s an uncomfortable situation to be in.

So why would Walmart announce that they’ll be closed for Thanksgiving four months ahead?

To give people something that is rock-solid certain.

People like to know if something is going to happen 100%, even if it’s bad news.

For example,

Whether the world is normal, at war, or going through a pandemic, you can count on the fact that I’ll still be visiting your inbox everyday with tips or whatever else is on my mind.

I’ll still be here if you need help with your email copywriting (But more on that in the future).

It goes back to being consistent.

When you stay consistent no matter what you or the world is going through, you’ll be miles ahead of the other businesses in your industry.

So ask yourself what’s one thing you can consistently do for your community, then stick to it.

If your answer is emails and you’re looking to learn how to write better, my How to Become an Email Titan book will always be here too.
