Back when the world was normal, whenever I walked around outside, I always see a handful of people walking while looking down at their phones. They’re either reading something, texting somebody, or watching a show.
I mean if you’re texting someone, I kind of get it. Maybe you have an emergency or something. But watching a show? Seriously? Can’t it wait?
It’s only a matter of time before you end up in a terrible accident like this bright gentleman below.
So my PSA for today is: Don’t distract yourself when you’re walking on the streets.
Speaking of distractions, that seems to be a common problem for a lot of online businesses. As you probably know, having an email list is incredibly important especially since it can be a huge source of revenue. And the good thing is, there are so many strategies you can use to build that list. But it’s also bad because you can easily get distracted and jump from one strategy to another.
If you’re building up your email list from scratch, or you’re trying to scale it up, maybe you know what I’m talking about. You’re implementing one strategy, but not seeing results that you like. Then you see someone succeeding with another strategy so you shift to that one.
Before you know it, you’re not seeing any significant results anywhere. All you have is people that signed up for your email list, opened up the first few emails you send them, and then they stop reading completely. They do nothing but take up space on your list and waste your money.
I know I don’t want that. I want people who are raging advocates of my business. People who are eager to receive my emails and enjoy read them. People who would happily give me their money because they know what I do gives them the results they need.
If you want to write emails that your readers will enjoy, you can learn how by reading How to Become an Email Titan. You can find it on Amazon, just type in the title. Or if you’d like a sneak peek first, read the four sample chapters by clicking the link below.
