I believe you can turn any topic into something fun.
For me, they would have to be science and math.
Science was something I never really found interesting.
It’s a slightly different story for math. I used to like it, but now it’s something I don’t really want to be near as much anymore.
But there is one content creator on YouTube who knows how to make both those topics interesting.
His name is Matthew Robert Patrick, also known as MatPat, also known as the creator of the YouTube channel, The Game Theorists.
His content mainly revolves around asking deep hypothetical questions about certain aspects of videogames and coming up with theories using math and science.
And it’s not just videogames he talks about. He also expanded into TV shows, movies, and even food related topics.
If you pay attention to how he makes his videos, you’ll notice a few things he does to make his videos fun to watch.
To be more specific, those few things are:
• His use of personality.
• Using illustrations in a humorous way
• Use of pop Internet culture
Those are just a few of the many things. And it’s clear that his way of making his videos pays off by the number of video views and the size of the fanbase he created over the years.
There are also some methods he used that are mentioned in my book, How to Become an Email Titan, which you can find the sample chapters using the link below.
