How to Take Gratitude to a Whole Different Level

It’s that time of the year again.

It’s the time where we sit down with our family, eat a nice tender turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, and a lot of other great dishes.

We also ask ourselves, “What are we grateful for?” And it’s a good question to ask. I really don’t think people practice gratitude enough, even after going through what we’re going through right now, let alone on a daily basis.

I’ve heard stories from people when they used to live in poorer countries. It’s rough to say the least. If you compare that to what it’s like living in America, we are absolutely spoiled. Yet, there are still people out there who find something to complain about.

But I found a Forbes article that talked about taking gratitude to another level. Basically instead of asking what you’re thankful for, you ask yourself what you can do to make others thankful.

And it’s a question that really makes you think a little bit, rather than answering the former with the go-to answers of being grateful for family, friends, and health. Not to say that you shouldn’t take those for granted, but there’s no thinking involved.

Something for you to think about.

Anyways, I’ll keep this email short. I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to be having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year. Honestly, my family hasn’t had it in years, but this time we’re going to get some food from Boston Market, something I probably only had one other time in my life.

Also, I’m going to leave a link to a video made by one of the greatest business and mindset coaches, David Neagle, who explains the idea behind gratitude in case you want a better understanding of it.
