How to Bring Out the True Colors of Internet Business Mentors

It’s actually not that hard.

And if they have a lot of hidden insecurities, then it’s even easier.

Now, when I say ‘true colors,’ I’m not talking about whether the businesses they run are legitimate or not, I’m talking about their character, their personalities.

A person isn’t truly tested until you push back on them a little bit and push their buttons.

And if you come across those types of people, you may witness one or more of the following:

• Ad hominem: Personal verbal attacks

• Refusal to listen

• Constantly talking over you

• Talking in a loud volume to assert their pseudo-dominance

• Deflecting direct, specific questions

• Overall no interest in having a civil conversation

Would I want to work with someone who acts like that? Of course not.

And this applies to customers as well.

There are certain business owners I follow who openly share interactions with potential customers.

For example:

A potential customer misses the deadline for a promotional offer and emails the business owner to make an exception. Business owner says no, and the potential customer throws a tantrum and accuses the business owner of having bad customer service skills.
