Today is Independence Day.
If you live in America, you probably already know this.
If you don’t….well now you do.
Anyways, I saw a lot of funny content online about Independence Day.
For example:
How the Declaration of Independence was memed as the greatest breakup letter of all time.
Or how ironic it is that we declared independence from Great Britain, yet we stay July 4th in the UK’s date notation.
There were some more ridiculous things too, such as the following.
I once came across a tweet where someone said something along the lines of…
You know don’t know what it’s like to live in terror until you’ve lived a day in the United States.
…Huh?
Sorry, have you not heard of countries like Syria? North Korea? Ukraine?!
Sure, we got our own terrible stuff going on here too. But, overall, people’s lives are safer here than if they were to live in any of the countries I mentioned above.
We also have things that other countries may not have like a roof over our heads, clean water, air conditioners, and all the education and information you could want at the palm of your hands (Literally, thanks to smartphones).
We even have the freedom to start our own businesses and build the careers we want.
There are people who are full-time content creators, a career that no one thought was possible a decade ago.
Online businesses are easy to start now and at a relatively inexpensive cost too.
And for every online business, I believe doing email marketing is essential.
Building an email list and consistently sending interesting emails.
