Email Secrets From the Notorious Penny-pincher, Mr. Krabs

One thing I love about Mr. Krabs is that he’s a very resourceful person, and in two different ways.

He knows how to save money:

When he wants to buy soda from the vending machine, he inserts a quarter to get a soda can then pulls out the quarter with a string.

He refuses to pay his loyal employees overtime wage and give them a raise.

Instead of stealing toiletries from hotel rooms, he steals the room itself.

He also knows how to make money:

He takes other people’s garbage, dumps them in his front yard, sprays some air freshener, and opens up an “antique” yard sale.

It’s as if he follows the phrase, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” like it’s his religion.

You know….

If he can convince a stranger that a holed umbrella belonged to a queen, and convince Patrick that an old toilet plunger is actually a soup ladle, then it’s possible for you to create emails out of anything, including random objects and the most insignificant, boring parts of your life.

How do those two relate?

I have no idea anymore. It sounded like a good idea when I thought of it at the time.

But in my book How to Become an Email Titan, I included an appendix dedicated to showing you how I turned the most random topics into an email including garbage, a rubik’s cube, and basketball.

If that sounds like something you’d like to check out, be on the lookout for the release announcement.

Coming soon.
