Another Reason to Prioritize Emailing

It might actually happen.

People have been talking about TikTok and how it’s a national security threat for the United States for quite a while now.

Just yesterday, our beloved and forever cherishable President Trump announced that he has plans to ban the app from being used in this country.

It has already been banned from being installed in government issued phones. Employees of the Pentagon were told to remove the app from their phones too.

Personally, I couldn’t care less about the ban since I never bothered to download the app.

The people who would care?

Probably Microsoft since they were planning on buying it to gain a competitive edge against the other tech giants.

But also the TikTok influencers.

As soon as word got around, these influencers started to panic and urged their followers to follow them on their other social media platforms.

Yes, you heard, err…read that right. In order to retain the followers they built on a social media platform that can disappear at any time, they ask their followers to follow them on oher social media platforms that can disappear at any time as well.

Otherwise, everything they’ve built will disappear in an instant because they simply have no control over their followers. But you do with your email list. You can export and transfer your list wherever you’d like.

One more reason why you should focus on building your email list over building a social media following.

Once you get people on your email list, that’s only part of the battle. The real work comes in when you have to write and email your list consistently, setting sequences for them to go through, etc.

Indeed, it does take time to write them all. So if you need extra help, that’s where I can come in.
