Analyzing the Myth of Red Car Owners Having Higher Auto Insurance Costs

There’s a myth that owning a red car will increase your auto insurance cost.

On the surface level, that’s completely false.

When insurance companies calculate your rate, they take into consideration many things, but the color of your car isn’t one of them.

But on a psychological level, there actually may be some truth to it.

Hear me out.

Red represents love, but also power and energy. Physiologically, being exposed to this color can increase your heart rate and blood pressure.

It’s also associated with dominance. Experiments have been done concluding that athletes wearing red win more often because the color causes them to perform more aggressively.

And that’s why I say there may be truth about the red car and insurance cost in the beginning.

People who drive red cars may tend to drive more aggressively, which means a higher chance of them getting into accidents, which can result in increased insurance cost.

Is all this actually true? Who knows, this is just a theory.

But this is similar to the psychological concept of copywriting where people think that using certain words will magically make people want to buy things.

That’s definitely not true.

There are a lot of different factors that trigger people to want to buy things. Unfortunately, some of those factors are out of your control.

But there are things that you can do within your own control to make it so that when it comes time for them to buy from you, they’ll have a lot easier time saying yes.

One of the things you can do is learn and implement the email copywriting teachings I put in How to Become an Email Titan. You can get yourself a copy of the book by clicking on the link below.
