A Post of Gratitude

Last night, I was on a call with a group of friends that lasted until 1 AM.

Before I went to sleep, I did a little bit of journaling and I realized how grateful I am to have them around, especially during a time like this where we’re all socially isolated.

To be honest, I never would’ve realized this if it wasn’t for journaling.

Here’s the point I’m trying to make.

Journaling is magical.

More often than not, you’ll have thoughts that wouldn’t have come up otherwise. It’s useful if you need…

A self-therapy session

New business ideas

Fresh email content

Or just to be more comfortable with writing. And if you write daily emails like I do, writing more is always beneficial, especially if you want to train yourself to write faster.

Fun fact:

The cover art of How to Become an Email Titan came from a random idea that popped into my mind while I was journaling.

It doesn’t just have to be a self-care routine. Journaling has the potential to help you in your business as well.

And it doesn’t take much to start. All you need is a paper, a pen, and a timer. Set the time to 15, 20, or however many minutes you want, then just start writing.

Or if you prefer my way, I write 750 words, or three pages everyday on a website called 750words.com. It’s completely private, and you’re able to export all your entries so you can save and reread them in the future.

You can use it for free for 30 days, after that it only costs $5 per month.
