In one of the chapters of my How to Become an Email Titan book, I suggested that everyone should have a backup email marketing software (at least if you have a relatively small list) in case you experience problems with one of them.
For the past couple of days, that’s exactly what I’ve been experiencing.
I mainly use Mailerlite and they’ve been going under a lot of maintenance and upgrading lately.
Like today.
As I’m writing this, they’re in the middle of upgrading their software and temporarily stopped all email sending.
So for now, I’m sending emails from my backup software, ConvertKit.
You see, even though you have more control with email than with social media platforms, things are still going to happen that are out of your control and will stop you from doing what you want to do.
That’s why you always have a backup plan, even a backup plan for your backup plan, because like the saying goes, “One is a dangerous number.”
Other than that, the book also teaches you how to write emails that build strong relationships with your readers and which leads to you getting sales.
