Is Helping People a “Fruitless Mission?”

I was listening to a business interview between two copywriters. One of them (Alec) is an email specialist and the other one (Justin) specializes in writing copy for cold traffic conversion.

At one point, they were talking about when they first met.

Long story short, Alec approached Justin and expressed interest in learning how to make money online.

After that, Justin explained that he normally doesn’t try to help people. From his experience, the people he tried to help in the past ended up never listening to his advice, even though they said they claimed to be fully committed.

He described it as a “fruitless mission.”

A pretty negative way of thinking, in my opinion.

Helping people is always a fulfilling thing to do. It’s just a matter of the type of people you help.

There are the ones who say they’re looking for help, but they never truly accept it. Then there are the ones who will accept it, and are willing to do anything and everything to get to where they want to be.

Those kinds of people are the best (and most fun) to work with.

I think it’s safe to say that he figured that out by now just by looking at the products and services he provides.

And that’s something I learned for myself from the past few years too, which saved me a lot of energy.

With that said, if you need help improving your email copywriting skills, then check out How to Become an Email Titan. But, only if you’re willing to put in the work and commit to achieving the results you want to get.

Otherwise, don’t buy it. If you do, it’ll be no different than flushing your money down your toilet.

I think this’ll be a good note to end it on.
