Don’t Be a Fraudster, Be An Entrepreneur

Last month, I read an article about televangelists.

If this is the first time you’ve heard of this term, they’re ministers who spend a lot of their time on TV. They’re supposedly really good at motivating their audience into giving their money to televangelists.

For what reasons? I may never know.

But there are many televangelists who’ve been caught as frauds.

For example:

Back in 1989, a man who goes by the name of Jim Bakker was caught defrauding the public and served some years in prison.

Now he has returned to the public claiming he has the cure to the coronavirus.

I guess once a fraud, always a fraud, right?

Unless he actually does have the cure and he just wants to keep the profits all to himself…

I guess we’ll never know.

But here’s why I’m sharing this story with you.

The media has huge influential power.

People who appear on media platforms have a lot of influence because they’re exposing themselves to a huge audience and are automatically seen as a leader.

Whether they’re good or bad, they’re seen as someone you can trust (in most cases).

If you’re thinking about expanding your reach to a new audience, consider getting on the media.

It doesn’t have to be TV, but you can start as small as getting featured on a podcast.

And when you reach a new audience, that also means more quality subscribers entering your email list.

There are many resources out there to help you get booked on podcasts, and today I’ll share one of my favorites.

RadioGuestList.
