There’s a color out there that’s known as the world’s ugliest color.
Pantone 448 C
You’d think there would be no use for this color since people think it looks so unattractive.
But they’ve actually found a good use for it.
In 2016, the government of Australia decided to use this color on cigarette packaging as an attempt to stop people from buying cigarettes.
It must’ve been a good idea because other countries decided to follow along. The governments of the United Kingdom, France, and Ireland all decided to use this strategy too.
See, being ugly isn’t all that bad. It can still be used to your advantage.
Like the saying goes,
“In a world of beauty, ugliness stands out.”
This is actually one of the reasons why I don’t bother making my emails look all pretty. I always leave them plain-looking.
Plus I just don’t want to put in the effort to make my emails all pretty-looking.
